"That Conversation You Had, How Did It Turn Out?"
This episode begins with at school, Shinichirou finds a packet of red berries in his shoe locker and another one on his desk. When his friend, Nobuse finds the berries, Shinichirous tells Nobuse about how Noe's been leaving the berries for him and Nobuse replies, "it's love". After school, he finds Noe to complain, but instead she runs and meets up with an older looking guy with an motorcycle. Being surprised, he then goes to Aiko's store. He sees Aiko feeding Nobuse like a couple. Aiko explains that he was just tasting her food, she then offers to feed Shinichirou, but she accidentally drops it with her chopsticks telling him to get closer so that she can reach him. Then Nobuse ends up eating it straight off the counter. Later, Aiko and Shinichirou are headed to the community center together, she then asks him about what happened between him and Hiromi. He answers back and Aiko explains that people want to get closer to the person they love. When they're unable to do that, they go with someone who's already close to that person. She then kicks Shinichirou when he asks her about it. He starts to think about Hiromi and why she was trying to get closer to someone. Then he thinks that the person is him which sets him off in a good mood. At home, he finds his mother giving Hiromi tasks. It was late already, and his mother insists on getting it done tonight, he suggests that he would do the task and Hiromi follows him. While walking, they think about when they were young and what happened that night. At school, Shinichirou tells Noe not to get involved with him since she already has a boyfriend. After jumping off the tree, Shinichirous carries her on his back. Then Noe orders him to go towards the gymnasium where the boys' basketball team is playing. One of the guy from the rival school with the number 4 on his jersey makes a shot then Shinichirou recognizes this guy as the same person that Noe had been with., but surprised to hear her call out to him as her brother. After the game, Nobuse and Shinichirou is talking and Nobue wants an explanation why he was carrying Noe because Hiromi saw them and maybe have a misunderstand. Shinchirou then walks around school, and accidentally overhears Hiromi talking to her friend about how she likes the number 4 from the rival school. Then the story ends with Hiromi runs into Shinichirou and realizes that he might have heard what she said.
